Great to see a new series on BBC (now I can get it) abount Indian food. Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m famous for my curries, but it isn’t as straightforward to buy essentials such as poppadoms and some spices in Barcelona as it is in the UK where every supermarket caters for Indian food. Google update - July 2007

Google seems to be going through some kind of algo change with reports pages dropping in the SERPS. Squidoo lenses seem to have been particularly hard hit over the weekend; I wrote a new lens last week which was on the first page on Saturday. It was still there this morning but has now disappeared, just as it brought in a sale.

Stompernet SIMPLE drops the 40 day bombshell

So we got up to day 40 of Stompernet SIMPLE yesterday and once again they dropped a bombshell. For our $97/month SIMPLE will continue with a WEEKLY update rather than the daily action item we’ve been used to.

Some of SIMPLE has been great. Some of it has been absolutely dire - never in the faculty itself but usually in the way things are communicated. (more…)

Life’s a beach

It takes about 20 minutes to get to the beach at Castelldefels from home, so Miriam had the great idea to take some time out while the weather is good and head for the beach during the week. Sounds like a great idea, doesn’t it? Unfortunately the weather this week wasn’t up to it. (more…)

Well I was given a 90 cm satellite dish, LNB, 25 metres of coax cable, a Sky digibox and all the bits and pieces required to hold it all together.
