Hotel Majestic Barcelona
A few years ago I was sent to a conference run by Network Solutions in Barcelona by my then employer. Although I could have stayed at their expence in Hotel Majestic on Passeig de Gracia I declined as I had another arrangement planned.
 However, I did eat a fabulous meal there, as well as being entertained on Casa Batllo which at the time wasn’t open to the public and so a rare treat to be able to see inside the Gaudi masterpiece. One of the things I loved about the Majestic was the rooftop swimming pool with great views over the city and what I experienced of the service with absoutely first rate. If I were to visit Barcelona and had nowhere to stay it would definitely be on my list.
