Internet marketing: do this right and make a killing online
While much of the internet marketing process consists of technical know how, that is the easy bit. Setting up a website is simple, writing content requires work, but that too is a straightforward process. Even if you don’t know much about the subject you are writing about it, the internet makes it easy to research and if you do know about the subject then it is a breeze.
And with so many affiliate programs for just about every conceivable product you don’t even have to do any packing, shipping or customer service. If that is the case what is so difficult about internet marketing?
The fact is that most of us find identifying a market with relatively low competition and consisting of people who want to buy something to be not as easy as it sounds.
There are many keyword tools around that aim to help identify such market niches, but in the wrong hands they’re next to useless. Probably the best way to go about it is found in Ed Dale’s 30 Day Challenge which he’s been running for a number of years (formerly with Frank Kern, now with Dan Raine) and total *free*, so if you haven’t seen it I recommend heading there soon.
The 30 Day Challenge process helps you identify search terms with 80-100 searches today (and verifies that with Google) that have less than 30,000 competing pages and then shows you a process how to put some content onto a blog and use social bookmarking to rank on the first page within a few days. If you have any experience of internet marketing then you’ll know just how impressive that is.
Last summer’s 30 Day Challenge was based on research that came out of Immediate Edge, Dan Raine and Ed Dale’s current coaching program, but the good news is that they’ll be running it in August again this year. Great for some, not me as I’ll be on holiday in August with no broadband internet access. Mind you, the beach will suit me.
